At Param Yatra, we understand that travel plans may change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed.
By booking a tour package with us, you agree to the terms below.
If you cancel your booking, cancellation charges will apply as per the following schedule:
30 days or more before departure – 10% of total package cost
15–29 days before departure – 25% of total package cost
7–14 days before departure – 50% of total package cost
Less than 7 days before departure – 100% of total package cost (No Refund)
No Show – 100% of total package cost
Note: Specific packages (such as helicopter bookings, special darshan passes, or peak-season tours) may have separate cancellation rules, which will be shared at the time of booking.
Char Dham and other high-altitude tours are subject to weather conditions, landslides, roadblocks, and government restrictions.
No refund shall be provided for delays or route changes caused by weather or natural calamities.
If a trip is discontinued due to force majeure conditions, refunds (if any) will be processed after deducting actual expenses incurred.
Helicopter tickets are subject to operator-specific refund policies.
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after approval.
The amount will be credited to the original payment method.
Payment gateway charges and banking charges may be deducted.
The following are generally non-refundable:
Government permits
Temple special darshan tickets
Helicopter tickets (as per operator rules)
Travel insurance
Visa or documentation fees
Peak season hotel bookings
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to:
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Insufficient group size
Safety concerns
In such cases, customers may choose:
A full refund, OR
Adjustment toward a future tour
Any changes to travel dates, hotel category, or itinerary:
Are subject to availability
May involve additional charges
